An IPL team representing the city of Jaipur is Rajasthan Royals. The Jaipur based franchise along with the Chennai based franchise Chennai Super Kings was suspended for two years over a match-fixing scandal which did not allow them to participate in IPL 2016 and IPL 2017.
Rajasthan Royals is an IPL franchise that has won the IPL title in the inaugural season of Indian Premier League in the year 2008. After IPL 2018, a total of eleven seasons were held out of which Rajasthan Royals participated in 9 seasons but did not manage to win second IPL title.
